Gyakkou: 逆光

A zip-up pullover hoodie with the upper portion and sleeve ribbing tie-dyed leaving a black and grey pattern, and the lower portion dyed completely in the black ink dye. The featured contrast between the grey and deep, nuanced black—distinctive of hand-dyeing, gives it that layered effect, evoking the feeling of gyakkou, backlighting, rather than a flat, solid black. The zipper makes this hoodie easy to take off, and good for layering. The highly absorbent and stretchy French terry cloth provides perfect wearability from autumn into the winter season, all the way into spring. Each piece is one of a kind, meticulously hand-dyed in our studio.
